Greek wineries

Since 1980, Greek wine has undergone a revolution in which quality, individuality and history are the hallmarks of a new generation of Greek wine producers determined to make their mark abroad.

Grape Variety Assyrtiko
Assyrtiko is a white variety, indigenous to the island of Santorini, where the vineyard contributes to the picturesque aesthetic of the island’s landscape. Assyrtiko, however, is being cultivated throughout the Aegean Sea. It has been classified as a noble white variety, and is one of the most renown greek varieties internationally.
Cretan grape variety Liatiko
A unique variety, that dates back to the 3rd and 2nd century BC. As it has perfectly adapted to the warm climate of Crete, Liatiko manages to create delicate wines, full of finesse that can accompany every meal. This unique variety gives each wine an exquisite bouquet of aromas, with fresh red fruits dominating.
Cretan grape variety Vidiano
An old indigenous cultivar, which is also mentioned as "Avidiano". Vines of Vidiano were scattered among other varieties in the old vineyards of Crete. It is a vigorous and productive variety, late-ripening in the Dafnes vineyard and resistant to heat. Vidiano gives us wines with rich, fruity aromas, full body and balanced acidity.
