
Meatballs with spaghetti

Combines well with Dafnios red dry wine
Ingredients for the sauce:
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 garlic
1 grated carrot
3/4 cup olive oil
Salt, pepper
4 cups chopped tomatoes
Ingredients for the meatballs:
300 gr. ground beef
1 egg
1 cup grated cheese
70 gr breadcrumbs
salt - pepper
2 spoons of olive oil
parsley
dill
500 gr. spaghetti
How to cook meatballs with spaghetti
1. Saute onion, garlic and grated carrot in a large saucepan for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, salt and simmer for about 35 minutes to thicken.
2. In a bowl, mix the mince with the remaining ingredients and shape the meatballs. Optionally, you can coat them with breadcrumbs.
3. Fry in hot oil, until golden brown and remove them from the pan, placing them on paper towels to drain well.
4. Cook the pasta al dente, toss with the sauce and place over the meatballs.
