The 12th International Wine Competition of Thessaloniki, organized by the Wine Producers Association of Northern Greece, in compliance with the OIV guidelines was held on March 12-14 2012. The international judging committee of the competition consisting of 35 world class wine professionals, evaluated 609 wines from 9 countries and awarded medals to those with the highest scores. White Hare red  2009 stood out for its quality and was awarded a gold medal. This award is further confirmation of the quality that has made White Hare red  so popular.

Three more of Douloufakis  wines were awarded a silver medal: White Hare White 2011, Enotria White 2011  and Syrah 2009.
