A wooden case collection of 4 different vintages of Dafnios White wine

Douloufakis winery has just released a collection of 4 different vintages of “Dafnios ” wine. This is a white wine produced 100% from Vidiano, a white wine grape, indigenous to the Island of Crete.
Each bottle is a different year of Vidiano harvest i.e. 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.

The comparison of those 4 vintages is very interesting and we can see how the wine has evolved and what characteristics the old years have in relation to the newer ones.

It is also a great gift for friends. Apart from 2019 vintage which is the current, the other years have been sold out and the wine lovers have trouble locating it in wine shops.

What gave us the idea to do this?

While opening older vintages of "Dafnios white" for us and our friends, we appreciated the difference in taste according to age and decided we wanted to share this with our customers.

So 4 years ago, we started storing these bottles of every upcoming vintage in our cellar, so that at some point we would be able to make a wooden-case collection with different vintages of "Dafnios white".

We have kept these wines in our cellar in ideal storage conditions, with the aim to offer great quality and enjoyment to those who will taste them.

The time has come and now wine lovers can enjoy this fascinating tasting experience.
