Fried smelt and squid
Greek Recipe
For 4 people
Combines well with Douloufakis "Enotria" White dry wine.
Ingredients
1/2 kg smelt
1/2 kg squid
salt
lemon
flour
oil for frying
How to cook fried smelt and squid
Wash the fish and squid and set aside in a strainer.
Then salt, flour and pour into a pan with quite hot oil. Turn over once and when ready put them on a platter lined with paper towels.
Serve with lemon.
